[25 June 2021] We have received the great news that we can receive a donation from the Haëlla Foundation to start a women’s rights awareness project. In this project, the women in the south of Rwanda will receive educational training from Rwandan lawyers to make them aware of their rights. This will help the women to speak out about the sexual violence, or any other form of violence they have experienced as women. In addition, a few cases will be selected that require legal support. You can think of a woman whose property rights over her own land are denied. Something that unfortunately happens more often among survivors of sexual violence.
